Valery Argo medical aesthetician

Valery Argo

Valery is our passionate and empathic owner who loves helping people look and feel their absolute best. She is a Certified Laser Technician and a Certified Laser Safety Officer by the National Laser Institute. She is also trained in Advanced Aesthetic Medical Injectables, including Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, and Restylane. Additionally, she is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and an active member of the ASLMS (American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery).

Valery came to the United States several years ago from Russia, where she was a practicing physician for over 25 years. Her specialties included OB-GYN, dermatology, emergency medicine, and nutrition.

When Valery’s mom passed away at a very young age, she decided she wanted to be a doctor and educate people on their health. At 16, she enrolled in medical school and by age 23, she was a fully licensed physician. As an OB-GYN surgeon, she realized she wanted to do more to help people before they needed surgery. Valery was one member of a small team that opened the first private clinic in Lipetsk, Russia to guide women on a more natural, holistic approach to pregnancy and delivery.

Valery’s interest in cosmetology was spurred by her teenage daughter’s battle with acne. When she moved to the United States, she discovered laser technology and saw time and again how much it helped her clients overcome the devastation that can occur from acne and scars.

Valery continues to research and attend regular conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest cosmetic advances. She always looks for the optimal way to help her clients and finds great joy in seeing the real results of her efforts. Her clients appreciate that she takes her time before treatment to educate and create the best customized plan for each individual. She personally understands and demonstrates the organic relationship between aesthetics, health, beauty and lifestyle.

In her spare time, Valery is an avid argentine tango dancer and claims it is the reason she is here in Minnesota; her business name even comes from tango, showcasing her deep passion for her career and her dance.

Raisa is a Registered Nurse and Medical Esthetician with over 20 years of experience and serves as an independent contractor at our clinic, specializing in laser treatments, Botox and fillers. Her initial training was in nursing, with most of her career taking place in surgical assisting. Raisa went on to own and operate assisted living facilities for many years in northern Minnesota. In 2013, she decided to take her nursing to a new level and help people look and feel youthful. She believes in a natural look and feel, while providing her clients with realistic expectations and results. Her clients love that she truly cares about what is best for them.

Raisa is a passionate, fun and comforting person. She believes in constantly educating and improving herself and her services. Combining internal health and wellness with the most effective, safe and complete contouring treatments for the face and body is her signature approach.

She spends her free time with her husband, children and grandchildren discovering Minneapolis or relaxing at the lake in northern Minnesota. Raisa enjoys fitness, nutrition and exploring new ways to keep herself young.
